Terms of service

These terms apply when you buy from maktib.com. Please read them before ordering. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. Who you are buying from

Maktib is the seller of record for every order placed on this site. We take your order, arrange shipping through our fulfillment partners, and handle support and returns directly.

2. Products and descriptions

Product images, specifications, and measurements are supplied by the manufacturer. We present them in good faith, but minor variations between production batches are possible, and colours can appear differently between screens. Where a product offers several variants, each is priced individually and the price shown updates with your selection.

3. Orders and acceptance

Adding items to your cart is not an order. Your order is placed when you complete payment, and a contract forms when we send your order confirmation email. If an item turns out to be unavailable, or a price was listed in error, we may decline the order and will refund you in full.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars. Volume discounts, where shown, are applied automatically per item in your cart and again server-side at checkout. Shipping is calculated at checkout for your address. Import duties and local taxes are excluded and are the recipient's responsibility. Payments are processed by Whop; we do not receive or store your card details.

5. Delivery

We dispatch within one to two business days, and typical delivery is three to ten business days after dispatch. Delivery estimates come from the carrier and are not guaranteed dates. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Full detail is on our shipping page.

6. Cancellation and returns

Our returns policy, including EU and UK statutory cancellation rights, is set out on the returns page and forms part of these terms.

7. Reviews and user content

Reviews may only be submitted by people who bought the product. By submitting a review you confirm it reflects your genuine experience, and you grant us a licence to publish it on the site. We moderate submissions and may decline any that are abusive, unlawful, off-topic, or which we have reason to believe are not genuine. We do not edit reviews to change their meaning, and we do not remove reviews simply for being negative.

8. Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at a scale that degrades service for others, or use it for unlawful purposes.

9. Liability

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory rights as a consumer. We are not liable for business losses.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Maktib is established. If you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
