Maktib is an online department store. The catalog spans 10 departments and 74 categories — electronics, home and kitchen, fashion, beauty, sports, toys, jewelry, pet supplies, automotive, and office — organized so you can get from the front page to the right shelf in a couple of clicks.

How we source products

We work with a global fulfillment network that holds inventory in warehouses around the world. That model removes several layers of traditional retail markup, which is why prices here are lower than the high street for comparable goods, and it lets us carry a far wider range than a store holding its own stock could.

Who you are buying from

Maktib is the seller of record for every order. We take the order, arrange the shipping, and handle returns and support ourselves. There is no marketplace seller in between, so if something goes wrong you are dealing with one company.

How we price

Prices are set as a consistent margin over our cost rather than adjusted item by item, and volume discounts are automatic: five percent on two, ten percent on three, fifteen percent on five or more. Shipping is quoted live at checkout from real carrier rates for your address — we do not inflate shipping to subsidise a headline price.

Reviews

Reviews come only from customers who bought the product, are checked against order history, and are moderated before publishing. A new product shows no reviews rather than borrowed or invented ones. It makes ratings slower to build and much more useful when they arrive — see our reviews policy.
